In this role, you will be supporting a seasoned sales team while learning our process to be able to handle your own accounts. Main focus areas:
Receive, process and input orders from customers
Follow up on customer inquiries and monitor delivery information
Continually adjust shipments per customer requests
Monitor, schedule, and track logistics for all product shipments
Stay up to date on relevant market conditions and understand the quality of produce coming from fields
Prospect new profitable accounts
Build and establish strong working relationships with internal team members and customers

This role if a good fit for you if you bring:
2 years of experience in sales or as a produce buyer
Knowledge of produce business (retails/food service/wholesale)
Bachelors degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, or Agriculture preferred
Knowledge of freight delivered sales
Experience in excel and ERP systems
Strong customer service and proven ability to be an all-around team player
Natural ability to be a quick learner, logical thinker and proactive problem solver
